Objective
Red Bull sponsors Marcus Hahnemann, Reading FC and U.S. goalkeeper.
They wanted to create some relevant content to promote the brand via the Goals website, but were particularly keen to avoid any obvious branding. Goals specialise in 5-a-side football locations and events. Their database of users would serve to seed the video initially.
Solution
We helped Red Bull to reach the Goals community with a short series of interactive video tips.
The user is able to select either Marcus H or the Reading FC Fitness coach, Jon Goodman, and then choose a subject to get a quick tip.
Red Bull branding was achieved by featuring the product in “cut away” shots and referencing it in relevant clips.
We also designed the HTML email that was sent out to the database.
Results
The interactive video was hugely popular within the Goals community.
After the initial mail-out to the Goals user database, the link was forwarded on – increasing overall visitors to the page by 30%.
